Booked a table for a birthday meal, needing wheelchair access. Everything ready for us when we got there. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, despite a complicated food order. Food was delivered promptly and hot (!), tasty and enjoyed by all. Best of all it was excellent value for money. Thank you!!!

Food good 2 fish and chips 1 gammon steak service good atmosphere good. would visit again when in the area also recommend to friends. The last time I visited this pub was 20 years good but will go back.

We have been there a number of times recently (Sunday lunch, weekday lunch and weekday evening) and had good meals each time. It does get busy which is no bad sign. It is not haute cuisine but doesn't pretend to be. Recommended for time out with family and friends.
